Captain’s Corner: We need cooler water, and fast

Warm waters in the gulf remain a nuisance for anglers. We are ready for cooler temperatures. Normally, the high is 81 degrees at this time. Even with shorter days, revealing less hours of sunlight, it’s not the case. This is probably one of the worst things we can have occur during these nagging Red Tide conditions. Hopefully cooler weather will blanket the state soon, helping to straighten things out. We experienced a tainted exposure at the slip where we keep our charter boat.........
